16th AMIC Annual Conference
Asian Media Information and Communication Centre is holding its 16th annual conference on the 25 - 28 June, 2007.
That means three days ahead.
AMIC will be organizing this conference in partnership with the Nanyang Technological University. This conference is open to academics, media industry professionals, government agencies, policymakers, regulators, UN agencies, donors, research groups, civil society organizations, independent consultants and students.
The theme of the 16th annual conference is “Media Education and Development: The Quest for New Paradigms”.
The 16th AMIC annual conference will be a special event as it will be held in conjunction with the first World Journalism Education Congress (WJEC).
This unique and unprecedented conference aims to bring together media educators and institutions from around the world. The AMIC annual conference and the WJEC will have some common panels and overlapping sessions while at the same time each of the conferences will maintain their specific focus.
