Companies in Indonesia starts blogging — where has it been started?
The CEO: in Cisco Indonesia by Irfan Setiaputra, their managing director. How about staffs, technicians, and even technical support team? Please visit PT Telkom: they have various staffs having blogged since enough time.
What else? Consumers! Many telecommunication and information industries provide blogging activities first to their costumers. Giving those facilities for free and they will get community’s loyalities, fun, and also public support for their products. All for free, in both directions.
Indosiar’s tv channel fans get around talking from Asian Cinema to social responsibilities program on their blogs. Indosat’s IM3 celluler also has a blog for their teenage flagship. Consumers talk and shout out loud and fun.
During this month Nokia has a roadshow exposing blogging in major cities in Java Island of Indonesia. Budi Putra invited me as a guest in Nokia’s session in Bandung, West Java. They presented N-series handphone, discussing blogging activities, and motivating pupils for blog competition. Nokia targeted this roadshow for students in senior high school, indeed.
Blogging, beyond various personal reasons bloggers have, is now also becoming a promotion tools. While people may ask some business scenario behind, we still can hope it will lead to better communications between vendors and their users.
