It is a little bit surprise during national Eid ul-Fitr holiday (we call it Hari Raya Idul Fitri) that Blog Action Day 2007 still attracts enough Indonesian blogger to participate. Karangmumus tries to collect Indonesian participant bloggers and up to this evening they have 29 blogs. Following Blog Action Day’s suggestion to let every blog writes entry in usual, its own style, we can see there are various theme exposed on that list.

Either prepared carefully for several days before 15 Oct. or posted instantly today by bloggers, we hope much this event is worth to Indonesian awareness for environmental issue. Publicly speaking deforesting was highly alarmed by medias and activists regarding to many illegal logging on many forests in Indonesia. While many bloggers live in major cities in Java Island, most of them talk about environment in global issue such as global warming, less awarness in city’s environmental policy, or “modern” lifestyle which is unfriendly to nature.
