Who said that old people are hopeless with technology and that most wouldn’t know one end of a computer from the other?
A recent study conducted by the National Seniors Productive Ageing Centre, Australia, indicates that not only are many elderly Australians Internet savvy, but their uptake of other forms of assistive technology is well and truly on the increase!
Michael O’Neil, the Chief Executive of the National Seniors, on a conversation with the ABC Radio, said that 90% of their respondents said they used computers — and nearly all of those are regular Internet user.
