Flickr Blocked In China?
It has been a week that Flickr has not shown images to users in mainland China, and it is likely because it has been blocked.
“It is our understanding that Flickr users in China are not able to see images on Flickr, and we have confirmed that this is not a technical issue on our end,” a spokeswoman for Yahoo Hong Kong said in an email in response to a Reuters inquiry.
She also added that “It appears that the Chinese government is restricting access to Flickr, although we have not received confirmation from them,”
I maybe overreacting but, I cannot imagine a life without Flickr. Can you?

Chinese government often blockes sites, its usual practise for such a regime. I often travel to china and cause of using lots of mobile devices want my internet services also be accessible. I decided to took an VPN accaunt, and choosed the http://www.Strongvpn.com It doesn’t have any bandwidth throttle or other bugs. Also mobiles are supported. much better then proxies i think.
